I agree with deejayneo (who are you?) that signing along to songs is a great way to improve your English. That's how I learnt Spanish, it helped me with vocabulary, pronunciation and even grammar. I hope that in the future all of you will sing along to "We are family" by Sister Sledge!!
Another good suggestion from Tomo - do you borrow the dvds from the library? Are there any in particular that you recommend?
Finally I could borrow DVD film from MMU library that is All saint building. I borrowed Japanese famous animation directed by Hayao Miyazaki. It is remembered Japanese life. Ha. I recommend Manchester library that you can borrow DVD taken 1 pound.
